"It was on a trip to the famous Strathaven Balloon Festival that I first came across Climate Action Strathaven. Speaking to one of their volunteers, I found out more about this fantastic local charity and what they do for the wider community. They were also looking for volunteers, so I decided to put my name down.
I have been volunteering here every week now for the past 4 weeks and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. Every week is different and the community spirit is alive and well."

"I started volunteering with Climate Action Strathaven back in March 2022. I can be found in the hub on Friday's roughly once a fortnight, and occasionally helping run stalls for outreach events.
Volunteering with Climate Action Strathaven has given me the opportunity to some wonderful people, help promote and support the team in carrying out their work, and has also feel embedded in community life."
