We are proud to be partnered with Karshare UK, who provide the car share platform. It works just like AirBnb, but for cars. If you’re an owner choosing to list your car, you choose when your car is available, and what the charge is to the customer. Plus, when the car’s under hire, it’s on Karshare’s insurance not yours!

There are now 3 vehicles listed in Strathaven, including our very own CAS Renault ZOE e-car, with many more expected in the coming weeks. If you're a renter, the entire process takes place through the Karshare app. Every vehicle on the platform is instantly bookable, which means you will only ever be shown cars that are actually available when you need them. Once you have selected your vehicle and verified your licence, you are free to pick up your car and start driving. Your phone will act as a virtual key to lock and unlock your car, thanks to the KarshareGo technology.
