Making Strathaven a leader in Environmental Sustainability!
Climate Action Strathaven was launched in 2019 with the objective of highlighting the climate crisis and putting in place initiatives to promote locally and to help people get involved through action.
We became a registered charity in 2020 and since then we have grown as a charity supported by our volunteers and our team of dedicated staff.
We aim to highlight the climate crisis but also to put in place practical projects that enable our community to join us in taking action to help ensure that net zero targets are met and that we support the drive to limit temperature increases to under the essential target of 1.5C.
We have many projects here at Climate Action Strathaven to promote a sustainable future including:
- Strathaven Car Hire – Reduce car ownership. A greener, more affordable alternative to owning a car – learn more
