Join Climate Action Strathaven, Thyme to Fill and Connie Rose Designs for our first joint Clothes Swap event!!!

This fundraising fashion fest will help you to find new homes for your unwanted clothes whilst picking up 'new to you' clothing and accessories!

How does it work?
Each person brings 5 items of clothing (including up to 2 accessories; shoes, handbags and scarves) - freshly laundered and ironed and on clothes hangers.
Please note - Items are NOT to be from Primark or supermarkets, thank you.
Please note - Your items are non returnable, please only bring items you no longer want.

Cost: £5 per person

You will be given a raffle ticket for each item they bring in (up to a maximum of 5).

You use the raffle tickets as payment for 'new to you' items i.e. one item = 1 raffle ticket

Additional items can be bought at £5 each but only after everyone has had a chance to ‘spend’ their raffle tickets.

During the evening we will learn more about the issues surrounding fast fashion and how to move towards sustainable fashion.

Local stylists will be on hand to help you put together a brand new look and to think about how to team up your new clothes with those you already have at home.

A drink and cake/slice will be provided thanks to very generous donations from Thyme to Fill, The Heron, The Tudor and Old Smiddy - please bring your own keep cup.

Considerations:

Please use the hand sanitiser provided before touching clothes/accessories.

Please use the NHS Check-In provided.

Please wash your 'new to you' clothes before use.
